Leah’s goal in teaching is to evoke presence and connection through a practice rich with alignment based movement, breath, mantra, mudra and philosophy. She encourages her students to remember and feel their own wholeness, and hopes that each yogi leaves inspired and uplifted. Leah has been thoughtfully practicing yoga since 2016 and received her certification in the spring of 2018 after discovering a bhakti style practice called Rasa Yoga. Rasa, a Sanskrit word referring to the essence of experience and emotion; the juiciness and richness in our daily life, on and off the mat. Leah enjoys being a student and teacher of yoga, constantly immersed in deepening her knowledge and practice, she continues to study under the mentorship of Seattle-based instructor, Greta Hill. Aside from yoga, she enjoys longboarding with her partner and exploring the world of Ayurveda.
